I have already turned my pc into a tv so and so I can easily show slide shows on my regular tv screen as well as watch satellite channels on it.

So the Phanfare Media Server is an alternative to having our very own dedicated servers? It sounds too good to be true. Are the uploaded photos safe from other people's eyes?

I was wondering if Phanfare media server will run on the Windows Home Server?

Ideally, I would like to set this up on a machine that is always going to be up and running (like the Windows homeserver) and then have my photoframe (Momento etc) and Xbox talk to Phanfare Media server.

The Xbox 360, we can start a slideshow then bring up the guide (hit the big Xbox button on the controller) to select music. On the Playstation 3, move to the Music category and start music playing before going to the Photos category to start the slideshow.
